Meeting Times
Our Unit meets every first Monday of the month at 6:30 pm. However, there are no Auxiliary Unit meetings in the months of July and August.
Please join us! Your input and ideas are always welcome!
Eligibility Requirements
Q: I am related to someone who served on active duty during one of the membership eligibility dates. Can I join the Auxiliary of The American Legion?
A: If your relative served on active duty during one of the membership eligibility dates and is a member of The American Legion, you may join the American Legion Auxiliary of The American Legion.
However, if the qualifying veteran is deceased you may join the appropriate organization, even if the qualifying veteran was not a member of The American Legion when living.
Contact American Legion Auxiliary Unit 459, complete the application, and proudly join the AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY.

- Auxiliary dues are $30.00 per year.
- Auxiliary Junior dues are $5.00 per year.
- Auxiliary Dual Member dues are $10.00 per year.

Pay by phone: 317-569-4570, and have your member ID# ready
Pay by mail: Mail your dues check to Auxiliary Unit 459, 658 Michigan St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503
Pay in person: You can drop off your dues payment yourself. Just walk into the Post and talk with the bartender on duty.
